The Columbus Blue Jackets are hosting the Carolina Hurricanes in a New Years Day showdown.

As writing this, it is 3-0 Columbus after one, with goals from Zach Werenski, Adam Boqvist, and Gustav Nyquist. The new year is starting off strong with the most impressive start to a game this season.
