The NHL has announced that the Anaheim Ducks’ game against the Detroit Red Wings scheduled for tonight has been postponed until Sunday, January 9.
The decision comes as a result of COVID issues affecting the Ducks. Anaheim has several players currently out of the lineup in COVID protocol, with Sam Carrick, John Gibson, Vinni Lettieri and Hampus Lindholm all joining that list today.
Ahead of the game against Detroit now set for Sunday, the Ducks are also scheduled to face off against the New York Rangers on Saturday.
