We had a great night hitting all of our 2 unit plays, going 5-0 on those. We lost our 1 unit plays, but then we lost on our big 3 unit play with Vegas as the situation lined up perfectly for us bettors but the Knights blew a 3-0 lead, losing 5-3, unreal! Lots of scoring yesterday with the 1st period overs going 5-2-1 and game totals 5-3 going over. Favourites went 7-1 with the only loss being Vegas. Home teams were 6-2 yesterday. We have a nice 8 game card that I like a lot. Analysis below.
CAR/BOS - Canes won at home earlier this year over the Bruins 3-0 but tonight, you got a great road team vs. a great home team. The Bruins are red hot having won 5 in a row and 8 of their last 9 games since the break. Lean to Boston -130 in this spot.
BUFF/OTT - The Sens won their last 2 games with Matt Murray in goal and are 7-3-1 in their last 11 games. They finally get a home game for the first time in over a month before going back on the road for 3 games. Buffalo played yesterday while Ottawa rested too, a great spot for Ottawa, with 2 teams going in different directions. Strong lean to Ottawa -133.
WIN/WSH - The Caps have lost 5 of their last 6 games and are struggling since the break. Meanwhile, the Jets have played once in the last 12 days and are very rested. Strong lean to Winnipeg +115.
NYIPHI - The Isles won last night in NY 4-1, extending the Flyers losing streak to 8 games! NYI has won 4 of 5 since the break and just might be getting on a bit of a roll! Lean to NYI -153.
VAN/NSH - Great spot for the Canucks as the Preds played last night in STL and Vancouver sat rested. The Canucks are playing their 5th game in 8 nights on the road but the Preds are playing their 5th in 8 nights too, plus off a huge emotional game in STL that was a measuring stick for them. Lean to Vancouver +145.
MTL/DAL - The Stars sat rested while Montreal played yesterday afternoon in AZ. Dallas -275 is steep so PL -105 is something I really like as the Habs are depleted and terrible on the road while Dallas is one of the best home teams in the league. Dallas goes back on the road for 4 games after this one. The Habs 4th game in 6 nights on the road! Strong lean Dallas PL -105. Plus love the over 5.5!
FL/CAL - The Flames want revenge for their game in FL from 2 weeks ago, losing 6-2! The Panthers are 5-4-2-3 on the road vs a home record of 21-3! The is the first game of a 5 game roadie for Florida. The Flames are rested having been off since Thursday night and only one game in 11 days. Strong lean to Calgary +110.
TB/LA - LA had 41 SOG at SJ yesterday afternoon and dominated the offensive time in this game, the score was indicative of the game the Kings played. TB sat rested though yesterday but traveled across the country. TB has played 4 road games in the last month, they beat Buffalo and CLB but lost to Florida and the NYR! LA lost at TB 3-2 in OT a month ago. TB first game of a 3 game west coast roadie. Lean to LA +140, nice home dog!
