Nazem Kadri Named First Star Of The Week |

Nazem Kadri was named the NHL's first star of the week ending Jan. 30.
Kadri helped the Colorado Avalanche go 4-0 by collecting eight points (3g 5a) and three game-winning goals. Kadri had back-to-back three-point nights during this stretch and he continues to rank among the NHL's top scorers.
The dude has been on an unstoppable tear and he shows zero signs of slowing down. It helps that he plays on a stacked team but it's more than that.
Kadri has elevated his game into an entirely new stratosphere and the 'Avs are taking off as a result.
The 31-year-old soon to be unrestricted free agent ranks third in NHL scoring with 59 points in 40 games. His 41 assists are already a career-high. His previous best was 30 assists way back in 2013-14 when he was with Toronto.
Kadri is going to break the bank this summer. Book it.
Carolina Hurricanes goaltender Frederik Andersen and Calgary Flames left wing Johnny Gaudreau round out the top three.
