It started out ugly last night with Seattle jumping out to a 2-0 lead in the first period. The Wild woke up and blitzed the Kraken for six straight markers en route to the eventual 6-3 victory.

Kevin Fiala remained hot as he dished out five assists and now has 21 points, including nine goals in the last nine Wild games. Kirill Kaprizov scored a goal and added three assists pushing the second year phenom to 101 points on the season. Kaprizov also passed linemate Mats Zuccarello in the assist department with his team leading 56th of the season. Kirill now sits atop each of the three offensive single season statistical franchise marks with 45 goals, 56 assists, and 101 points with four games remaining.

Zuccarello was forced to leave the game last night and will not make the trip to Nashville for tomorrow's game. It is not believed to be serious and he is being held out for precautionary measures.

Both Matt Dumba and Jordan Greenway will travel to Nashville to skate with the team but neither will play. Greenway is closer than Dumba to returning and there is concern that Dumba may not be ready for the start of the first round playoff series slated to begin May 2nd against the Blues.

So now the Wild have their franchise best 50 wins and currently sit in second place with another franchise best points mark of 107. They are two points ahead of St. Louis with each having four games remaining. The battle for hoke ice is in high gear, however Dean Evason, is still working to give his guys the needed rest this last week of the regular season.

Marcus Foligno will not travel to Nashville giving him another couple of days to skate before coming back into the lineup.

Everyone is banged up at this time of the season, and managing ice time and lineups is critical to have the team best prepared for the real meaningful games beginning in May.
