I’m under the weather, so apologies for the shortness of the blog, but I wanted to get something out there for Game 5.
The Cats evened the series at 2-2 after a thrilling OT win on Monday night. It is fortuitous timing for the Panthers, as the series now heads back to home ice in Florida.
Game 4 showed that the Capitals are still controlling most of the game by clogging up the middle of the ice and neutralizing the Panthers rush ability. I think the Cats would be best to adjust by letting the game come to them a bit more. Don’t continue to force the rush that isn’t working. Dump the puck in and try to win it back.
If anything, we saw Monday night how important it is to get pucks to the net. I mean, that’s how the Panthers won. It wasn’t a pretty goal, it was just shoveling the puck to the net.
And get that PP working already..!
Let’s get a Game 5 victory!
I don’t like hearing that Marchy is a game-time decision…
