YTD - 12-9 + 3.97 Units
Favs went a perfect 4-0 last night and third period overs were 3-1, bringing the overall totals to 25-2 over the last 27 games. It's definitely a major money maker during the first round of the playoffs and when you have teams trailing in the later part of the period, coaches are pulling their goalies with 5-7 minutes remaining in the game sometimes. Tonight I will be on the third period overs in both the NYR/PITt and FL/WSH games.
NYR/PITT - The Pens don't want this going back to NY for a Game 7 as anything can happen in those games plus if that were to happen all the momentum would be on the Rangers side having won two games in a row. I truly feel the experience factor will win out tonight for the Pens. Lean to PITT at even money even with Crosby out. All give games have gone over the total in the series and I don't expect it to change tonight, small lean to the over 6.
FL/WSH - Same scenario here as I feel the Caps experience will serve them well as the Panthers don't have nearly the same experience for a team trying to close out a series. I see WSH getting it done at home with FL wrapping it up on home ice as they are a far better team at home than on the road, throw out the Panthers actual overall road record from the regular season as they didn't dominate on the road the way they did at home. Lean to WSH +155, great price for a home dog in the playoffs.
CAL/DAL - There have been more goals scored in the series when the games are in Dallas, 4-1 and 4-2 games compared to the lower scoring games in Calgary. The Stars at +140 offer nice value as they will put it all on the line during their elimination game. Lean to DAL +140 and the over 5.5.
