Multiple players from the Anaheim Ducks earned medals at this year’s World Hockey Championship.

Max Comtois earned Silver with Canada in an overtime loss to Finland yesterday and scored three goals and seven points in 10 games overall. It marks the second year in a row in which he’s earned a medal at the tournament, after winning Gold last year.

Lukas Dostal won Bronze with Czechia, though he played in just a single game as a result of an injury. The interesting note comes in the fact that Dominik Simon began the tournament with Czechia as well, playing two games – but then later left the team after instigating an altercation with teammate Filip Hronek. He remained listed on the team’s roster on the IIHF website and given that he got into game action, it seems likely that he would also still earn a medal.

Vinni Lettieri also participated in the tournament, going pointless in 10 games with the United States.
