The Los Angeles Kings have three prospects participating in the World Juniors this year.

Samuel Helenius and Kasper Simontaival will both be returning for Finland, after winning Bronze in the 2021 tournament. Helenius was selected 59th overall by the team in 2021, while Simontaival was taken 66th overall by the Kings in 2020.

Helge Grans will also participate in the tournament, suiting up for Sweden. The defenseman was selected 35th overall by Los Angeles in 2020 and spent this past season with the AHL’s Ontario Reign, managing seven goals and 24 points in 56 games.
