Day 3 — August 11, 2022

Canada dominated Slovakia by the final score off 11-1. CBJ prospect Kent Johnson had one assist and 6 shots on goal for Team Canada.

Czechia lost to Finland in the shootout, by the final score of 4-3. Martin Rysavy had 3 shots on goal. David Jiricek only had one shot on goal.

Day 4 — August 12, 2022

No Jackets prospects played, but Sweeden won 6-0 over Austria; meanwhile, Slovakia defeated Latvia 3-2 in a shootout.

Day 5 — August 13, 2022

Kent Johnson’s Michigan goal is the goal of the tournament, highlighting a 5-1 victory over Czechia. Johnson had the lone highlight reel, plus an assist with 9 shots on goal, and a +1 rating. Mason McTavish (ANA), Ridley Greig (OTT), and Tyson Forrester (PHI) had the other Canadian goals.



As for Czechia, forward Martin Rysavy had the lone goal. His second goal of the tournament was the opening goal and was a short handed goal. David Jiricek had a -2 rating for his homegrown team; Stanislav Svozil was a healthy scratch.

Additional games: USA shutout Austria 7-0; and Germany defeated Switzerland 3-2.

Day 6– August 14, 2022

Rafls Bergmanis’ natural hattrick led Latvia to their first win of the tournament, stunning Czechia 5-2. Stanislav Svozil had his first goal and assist of the tournament for Czechia, having points on both goals for his country. Jiricek and Rysavy combined for just one shot on goal.

In other games: Finland defeated Slovakia 9-3. USA beat Sweden 3-2 in regulation
