WJC CBJ Preliminary Wrap— Single Game Knockouts Begin Tomorrow

With the preliminary games completed and a day of rest, here is how the tournament went for the Columbus Blue Jackets prospects:

Day 7

Canada clinches first overall in the tournament with a 5-3 win over Finland.

Jackets’ forward Kent Johnson had a secondary assist on Mason McTavish’s (ANA) goal. That was Johnson’s third assist of the tournament.

Tournament stats:

Kent Johnson— Michigan Goal, 3 assists for 4 points in 4 games.

David Jiricek — one assist in 4 games

Martin Rysavy- 2 goals in 4 games

Stanislav Svozil — one goal, one assist for 2 points in 3 games
