Dmitry Kulikov was sent to the Ducks for the ever popular future considerations, which ultimately is a $2.25M cap relief for the Wild.
Kulikov had and up and down season last year, his first and only campaign in the State of Hockey. He was instrumental though in the continued growth of Karil Kaprizov but with seven defensemen under contract Kulikov was the odd man out.
That opens the door for Calen Addison to make his mark with the big club after having done all that he can in the AHL, his time is now to make it full time in the show.
