The Anaheim Ducks have signed forward Rocco Grimaldi to a professional tryout.

Grimaldi is 29 years old and spent the majority of this past season with the AHL’s Milwaukee Admirals, scoring 26 goals and 52 points in 44 games. He’s played a total of 203 career NHL games and had a breakout year with the Nashville Predators in the 2019-20 season, in which he managed 31 points in 63 games.

Anaheim’s forward group remains pretty crowded, so it’s tough to see a fit for Grimaldi. With a strong training camp though, it’s always possible he could earn a spot with the Ducks.
