#1. The first NHL season I remember was...

2005-2006. Carolina hoisting the Cup over Edmonton; NHL06 on the Nintendo GameCube with Tampa Bay captain Vincent Lecavalier. Peter Fosberg, Simon Gagne, and Mike Knuble as Philadelphia Flyers with Robert Esche as the starter.

#2. My earliest hockey memory is .....

Meeting Bernie Parent in person at the Wachovia Center.

#3. My favorite team growing up was...

The Philadelphia Flyers.

#4. The first NHL jersey I ever had was…

A New Jersey Devils one, unnamed.

First ever named was Peter Forsberg with Philadelphia.

#5. The happiest a hockey game ever left me...

In person?

Milan Lucic v Dalton Prout. December 27, 2014. Best hockey fight I ever saw live. Highest scoring game I saw for Columbus live was this game with my grandparents and parents.

From TV/Streaming: every single one, honestly.

#6. The saddest a hockey game ever left me...

The farewell of Claude Giroux in recent memory.

#7. The greatest game I ever watched...

Columbus v Tampa Bay Game 4 2019

#8. My favorite player as a kid....

Peter Forsberg

#9. My favorite player currently playing...

Zach Werenski

#10. The Hockey Position I played...

All

#11. The number I wore when I played hockey, and why.....

4

7

77

All lucky numbers in same way to me. Also being a July birthday.

#12. The highest level of hockey I played...

Middle School team before moving to Columbus and stopped.

#13. The team I hate the most...

The Sean Avery New York Rangers. Great personality but a guy I hated growing up and watching. Not the current team. Nowadays I enjoy all teams.

#14. The team I never admit I like, but i secretly do...

The Penguins. I used to have an opposing view of them cuz of my brother and I rooting opposite, but since being around the city and seeing the most games in their arena live, this team and the experience of the city, overall: they’re darn good.

#15. The player I hated the most..

Sean Avery as a kid. Nowadays, nobody. Learned to like Aves and the sport needs more this back.

#16. The best player I ever saw play live or on TV.,,,

Sidney Crosby. In Columbus and in Pittsburgh. Ovechkin, Backstrom, Stamkos, Kucherov, Hedman, Chara, Alfredsson, Spezza, Healtey, Forsberg are all right there too.

#17. The player alive or dead I would most like to meet...

Active — McDavid

Retired — Gretzky

Deceased — Howe

#18. The rule I would most like to change....

The trapezoid. It shouldn’t be a thing. If a goalie can be hit and make a play, they can make up for their mistakes. Puck handling goalies is a rarity in the sport, and to limit them then and the few that can now shouldn’t effect the game. Also can create more scoring or speed the time of a game.

#19. My favorite hockey-related video or board game...

Franchise mode. The best version of any year. Much harder with the FOG of War creation, but to build the team is the best.

#20. My brush with hockey greatness. (any story of a player or hockey personality you may have met personally.)

Bernie Parent — got a picture with him and was shown off during my elementary school graduation.

Chris Clark — have his autograph and story about his top prospect from the 2015 NHL All Star Weekend in Columbus - his answer was (now current Seattle Kraken) Oliver Bjorkstrand.

#21. The NHL player who grew up closest to where you grew up...

When I lived in PA it was Nick Foligno, which I only learned via Spittin Chicklets.

When I lived in Ohio, I knew friends that had Jared Boll over for bonfires. But I know kids of a current NHL coach, and am not going to say who.

#22. Your favorite hockey writer....

Bobby Margarita

#23. NHL Arenas you have been to....

Nationwide
PPG Paints
Amalie
Wells Fargo
Prudential
Capitol One Arena
TD Garden (only for a tour)
Bridgestone Arena (upcoming)

#24. Do you miss the two-line pass? Are you old enough to remember the two-line pass?

1998 birthday, hockey is not a trap sport to passing. It’s unnecessary and don’t remember it.

#25. How would you decide tie hockey games? Shootout, Overtime, or just allow ties...

I like how it is now, but… if I was in charge, increase overtime to 10 min in the regular season, 5 of 4 v 5; 5 of 3 v 3. Then a 3 round shootout if tied with only the team’s top three point scorers taking the opportunity to shot. If still no result, then a tie. Can’t have it last all night, not for families or the media unfortunately. Things have to come to an end.

Playoffs… do not touch. Ever. Tho this for 82 game seasons would be fun
