5. Erik Gubdranson signs as first free agent of the summer for Columbus at a four year $16M dollar contract.

6. Alexandre Texier heads home to help his family.

7. Kent Johnson and Nick Blankenburg debut for the Blue Jackets.

8. Justin Danforth nominated for Bill Masterton Trophy.

9. Mathieu Olivier acquired via trade from the Nashville Predators.

10. Patrik Laine extended with a multi year contact.
