It is finally here – the first day of free agency.
This blog will provide updates on all of the moves that the Canucks make throughout the day. It will be fun to see what the Canucks end up doing in what will be a very busy day around the league.

Recently bought-out defenseman Oliver Ekman-Larsson has found his new home. He is reportedly set to sign a one-year, $2.25 million contract with the Florida Panthers.
Canucks UFA Kyle Burroughs has found his new home, signing a three-year, $3.3 million contract with the San Jose Sharks.
The Canucks have made some notable additions to their blueline. Carson Soucy has inked a three-year, $9.75 million contract with the club. Ian Cole has also been signed to a one-year, $3 million contract. Both players were linked to Vancouver leading up to July 1.
The Canucks have also added to their depth down the middle, signing Teddy Blueger to a one-year, $1.9 million contract.
Netminder Collin Delia has found a new home. The 29-year-old has signed a one-year, $775,000 contract with the Winnipeg Jets.
The Canucks have added to their defensive depth, as they have signed Matt Irwin to a one-year, two-way contract. He will carry a $775,000 cap hit at the NHL level.
