The Flyers reach the halfway point of the 2023 preseason schedule on Friday as they head to TD Garden in Boston to take on the Boston Bruins in Philly's third game of the exhibition schedule. The game will be nationally televised on NHL Network.
For the Flyers, Owen Tippett and Travis Sanheim will dress for the first time in the preseason. Cal Petersen will get the start in goal and may or may not go the entire game, according to Flyers assistant coach Rocky Thompson (who will be behind the bench as acting head coach with John Tortorella, for the third straight game, to watch and evaluate from upstairs). For Boston, both David Pastrnak and Brad Marchand are slated to play.
