Where Will Conor Garland Go? |

The Vancouver Canucks reportedly gave forward Conor Garland permission to gauge interest from other teams about a possible trade. The issue is not talent with the 27-year-old winger, it is the contract he signed with former GM Jim Benning after getting traded from Arizona.
Canucks team president Jim Rutherford has already disposed of the other major piece of that trade, buying out Oliver-Ekman Larsson over the summer, but finding a home for Garland may be more challenging.
Garland hired a new agent in Judd Moldaver and according to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman, teams such as Nashville and Columbus may have interest, but with two more years at $4.95 million, a trade may only be possible if Vancouver retains salary or takes a player back in a "hockey deal".
The tight salary cap for most teams is going to make things quite difficult this season and will force GM's to become more inventive to make the moves they want to make.
Who do you think would be a good fit for Garland???
