The Columbus Blue Jackets have signed forward Max McCue to a three year entry level contract. The cap hit for the newest signing is $950K. McCue, 21, was originally selected in the 2021 draft by the San Jose Sharks in the 5th round, 156th overall. The Sudbury, Ontario, Canada native has been a member of the London Knights since the 2019-2020 season. He has had 130 points in 208 career games averaging 0.63 points per game. This will most likely get the overager onto the Cleveland Monsters in time for the Calder Cup playoffs.
