Another Win Against a Team You Can't Afford to Lose To |
The Wild just beat the Coyotes at home. A couple of days ago, they beat the Blackhawks. Two teams that are "must not lose" games for any team vying for playoff contention. Harding is playing very well. Matt Foy looks like a man with a new lease on life after surviving the first round of cuts with players coming off of injured reserve. Koivu looks off still, but to be expected. Gaborik and Demitra split up looks to be working very well. Carney played well (for an old guy), but he left his feet alot. I wonder if that's why Lemaire sits him so much? Next up, Calgary followed by Anaheim (both at home) and then it's on the road to Vancouver, Calgary and Colorado (all three away in a four day stretch). This part of the season will start to tell whether the Wild are potential contenders or just pretenders. I talked to Eklund the other day on the phone and he thought the Wild are contenders. I thought he was high. Any early predictions? Go Wild.
