HIRED - NEW COACH TODD MCLELLAN
Columbus hires Todd McLellan as their 11th head coach in league history. The 56 year old was axed after the NHL All Star Game by the Los Angeles Kings when they were not in a playoff spot. He coached the great Shark teams and the middling Oilers. A 0.581 winning percentage in about 1,300 NHL games coached. A safe hire but leaves Woodcroft out there.
