Ok, so some of you might not get my humor. I am going to work on that so I can get to the middle of the left and the right, so perhaps you can all understand me.. It is up to the individual franchises whether you pull the plug on my insight, or accept it as valuable momentum to what is going on in the world, or hockey. Yes, I am not your average blogger for hockeybuzz, I try to be an entrepreneur when it comes to being original and diverse. Well, sometimes I pull it off and can proclaim myself as a good writer, and sometimes I catch an edge and fall flat on my shield, which sort of protected my mouth.
Just so you know, I could not spell entrepreneur, it took me a few minutes to fix it. This goes to show you that we all have skills and flaws, that we all are human and can want to say something but can’t. That we all have passion for things we love that others don’t. There will not be much content in regards to the Sabres in this excerpt, because frankly I am emotionally drained, and bored during this lull in the NHL.
I spoke with a very talented person in my neighborhood who covers the Leafs, and the Sabres through various entities, and he reiterated the void that August can install. As a professional, he promoted talking about prospects and organizational optics as something to delve in to. Well, he is correct, but I have limited capacity to go down that path regardless of my knowledge on the subject when the sun is shining, and the ponds are not even close to being frozen. This gentleman that I am speaking of is a steward to the sport and the craft, and I am truly grateful to him for opening the door for the opportunity to talk about my favorite team. I am however just a different animal, and try to find my own way to the crease. For some stubborn reason I always find myself trying to entertain with factual information, without the regurgitated boredom. I do need the analytics and pertinent content from people who are passionate about the math, but it is just not my style. You can’t fully judge character and fortitude from stats on blocked shots, hits, speed, or size. You might be able to do it by stitches back in the day, but this is the modern world, and this whole entity has evolved. More questions and less answers. Perhaps we might have something with the planets aligning in regards to Ruff. Old school butt whipping and mind games. Positive pressure to perform on players who have not really experienced life. I am ready for this season and am excited to talk about how the first quarter unfolds. Back to the “Oh The Places You Will Go”. We are all just waiting..
On Krebs.. This all goes back to the Eichel trade and the assets that were brought in. To be fair to Peyton and the Sabres, this whole situation is a flawed operation on both sides. He was jammed into the lineup too early, and his development was compromised. He is undersized with a higher end skill level, but was forced to play a role in the bottom six that kind of pigeon holes you. An agitator with success under his shorts is a different story than someone being forced to be one. Playing with inferior bodies during insignificant minutes can be a burden, unless that is who you are. I was that person and enjoyed every moment of it, but Krebs is not. Unfortunately, when given time in a higher slot, he just has not brought the heat which might be a major concern. Has he been given a legitimate chance? I am not so sure, but a low qualifying offer, and a must prove training camp could possibly unleash the beast. Hopefully this is a process that was cultivated properly. As one of the major acquisitions obtained for an epic failure, the pressure is on. Also, to all of you who bust on Tuch, you are absolutely mentally challenged. The guy is everything you want in the modern game. He also is one of us. Yes, he had a down year, but he eliminates a need on the top line. I believe he will bounce back, he is the saving grace in getting rid of number fifteen, or nine, or the red head zero. Hey Peyton, only Matt Barnaby can be Matt Barnaby. Perhaps you can find yourself? Be the ball, or puck. Naa naa naaa naaa naa.

I can’t wait for the biscuit to drop and really get into it with all of you. Thanks to everyone who follow me and the diligent fans who combat each other through the link. You are all knowledgeable and worthy. I learn a lot, and laugh a lot. Being a piece of work is better than being nothing at all.
When is Juri Kulich going to get a chance to prove himself with the big club? One of our top prospects has never been given a chance to play at the professional level. It is a complete joke. One NHL game played? How can you evaluate what you have if you don’t dangle the carrot? Completely ridiculous. Someone has to replace Skinner. I am a big Benson fan as you already know, but who on the roster besides him has the unknown capacity to get to the top? We have Peterka, and an always injured Quinn, but nobody else. Somewhere along the line you need to give someone a chance. You can’t succeed if you don’t get an opportunity to bleed.
Lastly, to the city of good neighbors. I had to step away for a little bit. My family and I held a fundraiser for my daughter at the Irish Center last Saturday the 17th for a scholarship in her name at St. Lawrence University. We are so thankful to all of the people who donated, and to those who supported us in this venture. We could not have done any of it without the participation of our friends and community. Why did I choose to stay here and live? It is because the people of Western New York are genuinely kind and passionate, and we have each other’s backs. Thank you everyone who helped us reach our goal. We are humbled and appreciative for the love and genuine caring.
