Chiarot and Chiasson did a post skate/pre game presser. According to Detroit’s website here is how you can see the game tonight:

DETROIT -- The Detroit Red Wings will start the home portion of their 2024-25 preseason schedule on Friday night, hosting the Chicago Blackhawks at Little Caesars Arena.
Puck drop is set for 7 p.m., and the game will be streamed on DetroitRedWings.com and the Red Wings Mobile App. Radio coverage on the Red Wings Radio Network can be heard on WWJ Newsradio 950 in Detroit.

Very cool that it’s another free view, the Chicago stream on Wednesday went well. Ansar Khan listed tonight’s lineup as:

To be completely frank, the lack of the top line along with Kane sitting out for Berggren to get a look feels a little concerning, but we get to see Seider hit the ice for the first time in competition. Talbot slated to be in net (correction, Lyon is starting. My mistake), we’ll see what it all looks like as it comes together.

More than anything in the post warmup interview, there was a throwback moment for me. Chiarot was sporting one of the old blue shirts that Fedorov used to wear. Was just a cool moment remembering what those teams looked like. (Mixed feelings on the white Nike skates).

Just exciting to see the team hit the ice again with a bit of a mix in typical strategy. The vets usually do the home stuff with the kids fighting for jobs on the road. We’ll see if anyone stands out, as Kasper got the attention for Chicago’s play by play in game one. Danielson, Chiasson, Lombardi and Tuomisto all want to start making an impression for this preseason. Let me know your thoughts on the lineup and how you think it will all shake out.
