On Blackwood...
There is alot of talk lately about the goaltending situation in Edmonton...and with good reason....Skinner has simply not been "Stanley Cup caliber and for the Oikers....its Cup or Busta. So it should come as no surprise that MacKenzie Blackwoods name keeps coming up in terms of the Oilers...I was told a trade could come as soon as after the weekend..depending on results.. I like this move. Blacckwood is a fast reflex goalie which in my opinion fits better than Skinner's style behind an Oilers team that gives up plenty of rushes...
On Kadri
Recently Kadri came out and said he would never rule out a return to Toronto...Kadri had his best season so far in Colorado as he played a very big role in the Avs Cup run. However, in Toronto he is best known for taking really bad penalties at really bad times and hurting the Leafs in the playoffs...You have to wonder if he has matured past that AND if Leaf fans would be willing to welcome him back?
