The Ottawa Senators are seeking their fourth consecutive game with a point or two as the Senators clash with the Carolina Hurricanes in their first meeting of the season.

Ottawa is continuing to earn the points any wah possible, and the last game got them one of two available. The special teams came out, but they have reversible records between home and away, until last game. The overtime loss makes it a little longer on the home side. On the road, the Senators appear to have changed their fortune with back to back wins away from the faithful.

After tonight, Ottawa does not see the road until before American Thanksgiving, where the Senators will be in California for their west coast trip.

The Senators are facing an upper echelon team with top half success stats in power play and penalty kill; goals for and against; and faceoff possession.

Ottawa must fight fire with fire to collect the available points in this contest.
