Thank god for a win to lift some of the burden of an unacceptable month. Give us something, lick your wounds, transcend managements unwillingness to provide help. It is good to see the buzz back on track for a while. I am not sure what is going on, but a site that has been a staple for years should not be irrelevant. This was a place where people could air their feelings without being silenced. This place is for all of us.
This is what I wrote before the Bruins game -
Sabres spiritually go for 13 in a Row. Can we keep the streak going?
Deportation. Does anyone out there have the same humor as me? This is actually laughable as we hear that guys are pressing and not staying in the system. What they are doing is so alien and illegal that we might have to extradite many of them off the premises. These are professional athletes that represent an organization that has been around for over fifty years. These are guys who make more money in their lifetime than any of us by the age of thirty-five that they should be sacrificing their minds to the implemented concept, and their bodies to the competition so they can be revered, because it is pretty easy to bounce back being so young. The chosen ones who are not choosing to compete. The ones who choose how many houses and which overpriced car they should buy, the ones who represent our community. The building is sparsely occupied by generations after the spin of the wheel. Goldie Hawn and the ghost of Burt are not showing up to watch Wayne. They are not eating ziti and roast beef at the beautiful Bavarian Aud Club. A franchise is hanging by threads because of managerial ineptitude and players who are not willing to pay the price. Dress like a glorified pimp as the flash bulbs illuminate surroundings as you stroll into the rink. This is a business remember, a few guys on TNT, who were average players at best, might need to judge your swagger. The fact that we can’t be average in a league that is so average, is completely embarrassing. The Leaf’s once won the cup when there were six teams to compete against. They have the same issues but easily keep the ship afloat by constantly rebuilding the lineup to be superior than most. We can’t figure it out? We can’t understand that you can’t lose eleven games in a row at the most crucial time of the season?
I am tired of crying for the fan base that we deserve more for our dedication and passion. In simple terms, we are entitled to more when we to go to a game. We should be entertained and witness a group that supports our loyalty.
Yes kids, we used to be able to watch our guys fight their way out of a slump. Literally hit and punch, and see an opponent run for the plane. I am not giving up but my favorite franchise is on the ropes and the guys who pay the bills, or the coach for that matter, can’t foil up and respect that the situation has gone too far. Sticks have to be thrown on the ice, families are going to be needed to be shipped out with a shocking trade, beers might need to be $9.00, instead of $14.00. A puck thrown by Lindy might just have to miss the head of an underachiever in the locker room by inches as it bounces off the wall. Heaven forbid he hurls it right at one of our goalies, it would go past them for sure. I had so much faith in Ruff that I never thought that this would happen regardless of the roster that he was given. He is letting us down and needs to go postal. Sequester the team, change everyone’s numbers, make them put their cell phones in a basket, do what you have to do to make us not be a laughing stock as a Buffalo hockey fan. Make the pain stop by convincing the guys who pull on the jersey, that they need to start bleeding for the people who support them. The play that we see is deplorable and actually unwatchable at this point. When we all should be on board of this ship that forces its will into the storm, we are witnessing a holiday of torture. We are looking for something to lift our spirits, and you are giving us nothing to be proud of. Last place in the conference, ten points out of a wild card spot. We were in third when the turkey was being served. Do something, Kevyn with a “why”. Quit, or stop “endorsing” your team with Terry. You have stolen money from the organization, but mostly you have stolen our soles. Your word does not mean anything anymore. You had no idea what you were doing when you started, but we thought you might learn on the fly. Our franchise is a joke and you have no punchline. Time to be a man. Perhaps it is time for the women to take control and make sure there are no purses in the locker room. It has gone on for too long. This is Looney Tunes. Throw away your skirt too Mr. Adams.
I could have used the chicken hawk but that would not do it justice. What we are seeing is disgraceful. Odd man rushes because of stupid mistakes, undisciplined penalties taken at the wrong times, defensive breakdowns and the inability to just get the puck out of your own zone.
We are supposed to be watching pro hockey and we are not. Someone has to be accountable and it is not the faithful fans.
Where art though Barnaby, Ray, and May?
Thanks, feel free to destroy any inanimate object you can find.
Bring on Chicago.
