The Ottawa Senators roll on and test their roster depth with the final home game against the Washington Capitals.

The Capitals have a strong team now and future as goaltender Logan Thompson has been extended with a six year extension worth $5.85M per season. Washington has also been working on extending Jakob Chychrun.

Washington defeated Calgary earlier in the week as winger Andrew Magipanie had his tribute in the Saddledome.

Ottawa is without Cousins for weeks; but will use the same lineup as they used against Utah. Jensen will miss his third straight. Anton Forsberg will get the go in the crease.
