Very quiet third period on both sides. I will be back later tonight with reaction from the dressing room. Sens outshot the Flyers tonight, which is about the only battle they won. Flyers win 6-1 over Ottawa.

No help by the defense on the 5th goal by Philly. Emery made a great save and then was hung out to dry.

Ray Emery in goal to start the 3rd period.

This Senators team has no identity tonight here in Philly.

We just received word on press row that Brian McGrattan is out with a right shoulder injury and will not return.

Ottawa is playing on the perimeter and nobody is driving the net. What a different team Ottawa is without their captain in the line-up. Alfredesson is definitely missed.

Anton Volchenkov knocked Martin Gerber on his butt and he had no chance. Gerber is getting NO help from his defense tonight, nor are the Sens forwards doing anything to help their cause.

Will this team show any resiliency and fight hard over the last period and a half? I am calling on the leaders of this Ottawa team to elevate their game!

Sens outshooting the Flyers for the second period 9-3. Problem is nobody is going to the net!

Jason Spezza equals terrible penalty, not moving his feet and gets caught hooking!
