Despite other reports last night, Quinn Hughes is still in Vancouver and practicing with the Canucks as of this moment…. currently, team USA has six healthy defense men in Boston. Quinn can only play tomorrow night if he were to get hurt or get sick, Could that happen? It has been a physical tournament and everyone’s got something going on at this point…

Ten Reasons the NHL MUST Let Quinn Hughes Play.

1. Everyone knows that Quinn Hughes was scheduled to go in his tournament.
2. He was not just on the original roster. He was part of the marketing of this tournament.
3. Canada was allowed to add a player when Makar was sick.
4. If Canada wins there will be a question mark that could’ve easily been avoided here.
5. This is the first time this tournament has existed and they’re making up the rules as they go along anyway.
6. Ask Canada what they think about it? I would almost guarantee they would say let him play. This is about beating America’s best players.
7. If Makar was in the same situation, I know the US would want him here
8. The NHL has a history of adding or taking away loopholes in ruins when something is interpreted as in the best interest of the league, players, or sport.
9. Why not say that the players who were added won the tournament started based on the players who had to drop out could be dropped if the player who was originally on the team gets healthy?
10. Any rule that would keep this from being a best on best tournament should be re-examined carefully.

Rules are important, but this is all new… everything was carefully put together to make sure this was best on best. That’s what the NHL wanted, that’s what the players wanted, and that’s what the fans want….

This is all just fun guys. Don’t let stupid things get in the way of that….
