Mike Grier and Tim Kennedy are meat and potatoes hockey men. They play an honest north.south game. They get clean entries and they skate like dogs in heat to hunt down loose pucks on recoveries. Their feet are always moving and they plaay both sides of the puck.
For these reasons, Lindy Ruff has decided to slide Thomas Vanek to the left wall to flan kennedy and Grier in Carolina.
Roy and Stafford tried to inspire Vanek, however, he did not respond. The chemistry has not been ther for 26-9-21 this season as it has been in the recent past. Vanek will look to benefit from the huge swaths of ice that Grier and Kennedy will be creating for the uber skilled, yet very inconsistent Austrian sniper.
Clarke MacArthur will skate with Roy and Stafford in Raleigh. The Connolly and gaustad lines remain the same.
