Sad to say that Scott Gordon's Team USA lost 3 - 2 today and Team Canada lost 4 - 1. It had been a day of hockey upsets for sure!

However, again, let's not make mountains out of a sand castle. Remember that Charles Wang all along said he would explore all options. Queens is certainly an option. Probably one that would suit the Isles better than many others. But discussing the possibilities is just a matter of doing exactly what they said they would do.

Dragging their feet is exactly what the County and Town of Hempstead are doing. Same as they have always done. Pathetic.

"We are working hard to keep the Islanders in Nassau County," County Executive Edward Mangano said Tuesday.

A modified development plan is expected to be presented at some point this summer, Hempstead Town officials said.
