Welcome back to the weekly Colorado Avalanche poll. Last week, Matt Duchene won the "Which player are you most excited to see" poll in a landslide victory. This week, the weekly poll asks who are you most nervous about for next season?
There are always players that breakout in each season and there are a number of players who regress from their previous season.
Here are the choices:
Craig Anderson: Anderson, by all accounts had a great season last season but can he repeat? Now teams have a bunch of video and a scouting reports and might figure out the best ways to truly beat him. Will he have a season like last season or could he have a really bad season?
Adam Foote: He's 39 years old and not getting any younger. Some feel the Avs' captain should have retired this offseason. Can his feet keep up with the speed of the game? Can he stay healthy? These are all goo questions.
Matt Duchene: Given the results of the last poll, he shouldn't get many votes but there's always a possibility of a sophomore slump.
Ryan O'Reilly: Will he slump as well?
David Jones: Can he come back from the knee injury?
Kyle Cumiskey: We know Cumiskey is a small defenseman who is faster than the wind. Still when the wind hits a brick wall, the wind loses. Can Cumiskey improve his defense and be more consistent on offense or will he be pushed around again?
John-Michael Liles: Which one do we get? The early and late season Liles who was really productive?? Or the one who was benched in the middle of the season?
Peter Mueller: Same story as Liles, which Mueller do we get? Also, how will the concussion affect him?
Kyle Quincey: He was good part of the season and terrible the second part. Which one truly comes out this year?
Paul Stastny: Will he crumple under the pressure the immensely talented Matt Duchene will put on him?
