Forsberg update

Day four of Peter Forsberg's latest comeback has come and gone and the man looks good.

Forsberg did well in the drills, and showed very little pain while skating. He was able to keep up with most of the players (there's no keeping up with Duchene) and showed agility too. Forsberg still has the ability to fend off attack from defenders behind the net whilst still controlling the puck.

His hands, his feet are good but his endurance, understandably, is a still a work in progress. Occasionally, Forsberg needed to catch his breath between drills. Other than that, the only really qualm I have is the little stutter step Forsberg occasionally has on his right skate when accelerating, as if he can't always push off evenly

It's hard to tell if Forsberg will come back or not but right now the signs are pointing toward yes. However, in the land of Forsberg, nothing is certain. The real test will be how Forsberg does over break when the Avs cannot do an organized practice.
