Welcome to the TD Garden, where it'll be Andrew Raycroft and the Pacific-best Stars against Tuukka Rask and the Northeast-leading Bruins. Enough of the jibber-jabber, it's time for puck-drop.

FIRST PERIOD

19:59 - And here's your first fight of the game. It's Dallas' Steve Ott and B's center Gregory Campbell. Ott bloodies Campbell as the refs step in. A lot of leaking from Campbell.

19:58 - Make that fight number two! Shawn Thornton drops the gloves with the Stars' Krys Barch and thoroughly handles him.

19:56 - Make it three! Off the face-off, AGAIN, Brian Sutherby and Adam McQuaid drop 'em and McQuaid simply pummels Sutherby. Emotional edge has to be in Boston's favor.

19:25 - First shot, first goal of the night. Milan Lucic makes it 1-0 after sniping home his 21st of the year.

18:40 - Two shots, two goals. Patrice Bergeron crashes the net and scores. That'll spell the end for Raycroft, who stopped zero of the two shots he faced, exiting with a .000 save-percentage. I've never seen that before.

16:09 - Adam Burish takes a shot at Rask after the whistle and the Bruins like that..well, they don't like it. Andrew Ference drops the mitts and nails Burish with a clean right to the face, Burish drops down in all sorts of pain.

13:30 - Marchand going to the box on a holding call.

12:38 - And Ott does his job in making a name for himself in this game, checking Blake Wheeler after the whistle.

12:08 - Ott denied on a breakaway.

10:25 - 3-0 Bruins after Bergeron scores his second of the night on a no-look pass from Brad Marchand. Bergeron's 2nd of the game.

5:06 - Lehtonen makes a tremendous save on a Nathan Horton shot.

3:59 - 4-0! Shawn Thornton rifles one and goes bar-down on Lehtonen. 4-0 Bruins. 8th of the year for Thornton.

2:11 - Boston going back on the power-play. Stephane Robidas on an interference call.

THOUGHTS AFTER 20 MINUTES OF PLAY

Well, this one is going to get out of hand. Whether you want to believe it or not, with the Stars down by four goals after just 20 minutes, there's no doubting that Ott will be up to his usual shenanigans and cause a ruckus. This game is virtually decided given how well the Bruins have played and what not, so why not give Tyler Seguin some real ice time?

SECOND PERIOD

16:31 - Ott and Chara are both going to the box. 10 minute misconducts for each of them after some serious jawing at one another. A little drastic, as matching minors couldn't done justice, undoubtedly, but you have to understand the refs desire to put a lid on these antics.

15:51 - McQuaid appears to score his first goal of the season after putting a seriously nice move but it gets waved off by an apparent Wheeler goaltender interference whistle. Very, very, tough call.

10:37 - Another scrum in front of the Boston net. Referees trying to get a handle on this.

8:39 - Daniel Paille goes for the knockout on Raymond Sawada and connects, sending him reeling back down to the ice. A scrum erupts, game misconduct and a match penalty to Paille as per the newly established head-shot rule.

7:18 - Seguin will serve the five minutes in the box for the Bruins.

4:19 - Rask holds his ground and shuts Loui Eriksson down with a splitting butterfly move. 40 seconds left on the Stars power-play.

3:31 - Standing ovation from the Boston crowd as the B's kill off the entire five minute penalty.

3:18 - Ott causing some trouble after the whistle as to be expected and plays the woe is me card as he's shoved by Ference.

23.8 - Richards going to the box for Dallas on a tripping call. Things getting chippy with McQuaid and James Neal. What else is new?

THOUGHTS AFTER 40 MINUTES OF PLAY

One has to figure that there's a suspension on the way for Bruins winger Daniel Paille. The hit itself was very reminiscent of the hit that Matt Cooke dished out on Marc Savard last March. While not nearly as devastating, it was the same in the sense that Paille left his feet and led with his elbow to commit a hit on a blindsided player.

But as for this contest, the key for the Bruins, who hold a three-goal edge, is to not take the stupid penalties that could put the Stars back in this one. They have a lethal power-play duo that features Eriksson and Brad Richards, and it's only a matter of time before the law of averages factor in and lets the Stars score one on the advantage.

THIRD PERIOD

19:15 - Brendan Morrow cuts the Boston lead to just two with a shorthanded tally. We have a ballgame, folks.

16:24 - And just like that, this is a one goal game. Richards scores his 21st of the season. Maybe I spoke too soon.

14:29 - Boston extends when Seguin spins and fires home a shot that misses 99 times out of 100

8:52 - Rask's trouble with rebounds is simply maddening. You can tell he's getting frustrated, relying on the butterfly way too much/going down too soon.

2:30 - Net empty for the Stars.

2:20 - Marchand empty net goal after Bergeron's bid for a hat trick was denied by a missed bid for the empty-netter. 6-3 Bruins.

0.0 - Bruins win a good one here at the Garden, 6-3 your final.

More from the locker room later.
