Fast first twenty.

Sloppy second twenty.

Well played final twenty.

Sabres go up 2-0, then lose 3-2in DaBurgh

3rd Period:

Buffalo threw the gas grille and the kitchen sink at the Pens in the final twenty minutes. Mattered not as the faulty second period doomed Buffalko, and MA Fleury closed the show in the third period.

You cannot spit up a two goal lead when you have it on a top team.

All Sabres in the first period. 2-0 Buffalo.

All Pens in the second period. Three unanswered goals.

Whoever wins the third period, wins the game.

After 40.....

Sabres brutal in the second period, or, were the Pens that much better? Its time to take it to the Pens in the third period, this is their third game in four night.

2nd Period
:

3-2 Pens
Staal strips gerbe and Matt Cooke beats Miller.

Lindy needs a timeout.

****

Geno's return was premature. He has an injured arm and will not retirn.

2-2

Tyler Kennedy beats Miller with the twisted wrister, off Leopold's twig.

****

Hecht in the hoose cow for starters.. sabres kill it off.

2-1

Tiny Tim buries a loose puck behind Miller. Puhleez... can this stiff!

1st Period

2-0 Buffalo

Niedermayer-Goose-Grier have both Buffalo goals in lightning fast fashion.

This Sabres team does not look like they have been idle for the past nine days.

Mr. Pegula's prescence is being felt immediately as he is watching the game, in person, with Larry Quinn right now.

Ironic how Nieds and Grier aree UFAs this July 1. They don't want to re-locate on or by the trade deadline, eh?

***

Sabres thrash the Pens and pepper Fleury with pucks in the first twenty minutes.
