No way to sugar coat it. The Buffalo Sabres played way too loosey goosey against the upstart Islanders and they lost. The Sabres played with fire and they got burned by the team that has owned them in three of four games this season. The forwards did not help end. Save Myers, the D were passive and porous in their own. Sekera was a train wreck. Morrisonn was no better. Miller whiffed on a couple pucks. How does a home team with a Vezina in the cage score six goals and lose?

Buffalo are 12-4-2 in their 18 games. three of the losses in that strech are to Grabner, Tavares, and Moulson

Buffalo clearly underestimated their opponent on Sunday. In the end, two minor league goalies beat Buffalo's Vezina.

Miller has started 31 games in a row. Patrick Lalime is not an option right now. Time to recall Enroth. I'd start Miller Tuesday night, then start Enroth on Wednesday night.

They get a loser point.

Carolina beat Atlanta in regulation.

Sabres leave for Montreal after Monday's practice.
