Hear ye, hear ye.

By trading veteran Dman, Eric Brewer, to Tampa, for a prospect and a third rounder, the St. Louis Blues have announced to the hockey world that they are indeed "sellers".

Brewer was traded late this afternoon to Tampa for unsigned prospect, Brock Beukeboom, and a third rounder.

Brewer agreed to waive his no movement clause in order to get the deal approved.

Begs the question, if St. Louis are in the selling mood, why not make an offer for David Backes? If STL GM Doug Armstrong balks, then ask for Brad Boyes.

Backes has three years left on his deal at $4.5 million per copy.

Boyes has one year left at $4 million.
