We think Jeff Carter may have a bad bruise or fracture of the left foot or anoel area. He took a shot in the first period and was not on the bench at the start of the second period. This is a guess from 180 feet diagonally from the ice. We have NO medical update at this point.

Flyers GM Paul Holmgren, going back to the stone ages of complete secrecy, told the press attache to tell the media that this is a "lower body injury."

Are the Flyers ever going to move into the "new" NHL?

Tampa should be tired on a back to back but the Bolts had more energy from the beginning. 3-0 in the third and the Flyers were never really in this game.
