The Sedins should be kissing the feet of Ryan Kesler, Alex Burrows, and Roberto Luongo feet today. Lenny and Squiggy Sedin have been downright dreadful for Vancouver in this Nashville series. Daniel scored 104 points in the regular season, while Hank chipped in 94 points. How do two guys with 198 combined regular season points turn into jello in the second round of the NHL Playoffs? Pekka Rinne has been outsanding. Shea Weber, Ryan Suter, and the Preds D have been ornery and stiff. However.....
The Sedins have been playing scared and cautious. While the Sedins enjoy their lumber slumber, Ryan Kesler has swooped in to save the day, if not the series.
Were it not for "Kes" drawing this questionable penalty on Shea Weber.....
..... the Canucks would be in a world of hurt in Game 3. The Sedins have been ice cold offensively. The Sedins ahve yet to score in the Preds series. Kesler scored the OT GWG.
Couver needed a hero in the OT and Kesler answered the bell.
The Green Men have officially jumped the shark in my world. Why did they have to agree to talk on camera with CBCs Scott Oake? Kinda like when Fonzie jumped the shark on "Happy Days", eh?

Alex Ovechkin is NOT Superman. He cannot do everything for his team.
The guy busted his ass and played out of his mind hockey in all three zones, for all sixty minutes in Game 3 in Tampa. Too bad he has teammates who like to sit and admire his hard work. AO thrived five on five and on the PP.
Semin and Backstrom are useless. They are lazy dogs! On a night when AO busted his ass and elevated his game in an attempt to lead his team to its first win of the series, Semin and Backstrom were invisible. AGAIN!
Gabby Boudreau has a huge problem on his hands. Alex Ovechkin is the only top six forward who came to play in this series. All others are howlin at the moon like dogs.
Credit Guy Boucher for building a plan to neutralize Alex Ovechkin in this series.
Boucher's 1-3-1 has been a constant source of frustration for AO and the rest of skilled playmakers on the Washington bench. Time and space was at a premium in the first two games of the series with Tampa. Deny time and space on Ovechkin and you keep him silent.
That is, until Oveckin decided that he wanted to use his speed to beat the Tampa neutral zone diamond defenders.
Bergenheim scored his fifth of the season in period one of Game 3. Advantage Tampa. Less than a minute into the second period, AO used his speed and deft foot work to beat the four dropped defenders and he was rewarded with the assist on the tying goal by Knuble at the 59 second mark.
Roloson is beatable, as Ovechkin had discovered on the tying goal. He and his mates have to continue to high step through the zone.
Midway through the second period, game ties at 2, Oveching took off again with turbo chargers blazing, only to have Brett Clark hook him down to the ice. Penalty shot should have been called. Instead, refs took path of least resistanve and gave Clark a tripping minor.
