ENZO LIKE'S NUGE'S CHANCES |

Tyler Ennis has been Summering in Buffalo. Skating with the boys and working out with assistant coach Kevyn Adams. He took a break recently and headed home to Edmonton for a break before Buffalo's camp opens on 9/16.
The Edmonton Journal caught up with Enzo and asked him his opinion on whether he thinks that Ryan Nugent-Hopkins will succeed in the NHL, despite his diminutive stature.
Ennis has told me that its not a matter of the size of the dog in the fight, its the size of the fight in the dog. Enzo is right. If hockey is in a player's heart, the brain, hands, and feet will sync-up.
Besides, as Ennis has proven, they can't hit you if they can't catch you.
Ennis told the
Edmonton Journal:
"I played about 155 pounds last year. It's definitely doable. Strength is important, though. I definitely have to get better at it," said Ennis, who has concentrated on building more muscle to go with the hustle the last few months. "It's not something Nugent-Hopkins can do in one summer, overnight. It's going to take a couple of years. It's important to keep your quickness. You can't get big and slow. Putting on 10 pounds is probably perfect for him. If he's still slippery, it won't be a factor. He'll be making a lot of good passes."
