First Period:
Ryan Miller was given a throaty ovation when the opening lineups were announced. This is his first start since getting yanked in the first period of the Philly loss six days ago.
Since pregame ceremonies, the Miller love has turned to jeers at times.
Miller has been razzed and cat-called a couple of times, as he has surrendered three goals to Winnipeg on their first 8 shots
All I can say is, thank God for Buffalo's superior special teams .
Derek Roy and Corey Tropp (first career NHL goal) have scored PPGs, and, Pommer has scored Buffalo's first shorty of the season.
