I never would have thought a game against Nashville could be so entertaining. The last time Buffalo played there it was a 1-0 game.
The hit on Miller could be looked at in a few different ways. I've heard Tootoo left his feet to try and jump over Miller or that he was pushed into him and it was too late to turn.
I'm not sure what I believe about the hit. I didn't see any intention of letting up on the play. He was forced toward Miller, but still could have attempted to stop or turn.
Anyway, it will be interesting to see how Brendan Shanahan handles this one. If the NHL really wants to eliminate plays like this, there will be a few game suspension.
Personally, I think I would give him a 4-5 game suspension. We'll see what happens
Miller's performance was the best I have seen him play in a while. He can shut down all his haters if he keeps that up. Loved how he played.
It was also nice to see Leino get a pair of assists. He now has three points in the past two games.
Now, can the Sabres string a couple of wins together on the upcoming 5 game homestand?
