Teppo Numminen can't catch a break--- sort of.

He's played a ton of hockey this season due to the injury to Toni Lydman.

In the game of duck, duck, goose, Teppo just got touched on the head.

Its his turn to sit out with an injury.

He's got a broken big toe.

Rookie Andrej Sekera will make his NHL debut tonight in place of Teppo.

In 11 games with Rochester this season, Sekera (6 feet and 190 lbs) has no goals and 5 assists. He is a solid +4. He missed games early in the season due to a groin injury.

Sekera's forte is his strong stick and fast feet.

He's an above average defender who can move the puck and loves to join the rush.

The former Owen Sound Plater scored 21 goals and added 34 assists last season.

Sekera will wear #44 for the Sabres.

Look for Miller and Huet tonight.

Dan Paille was sent back to RaChaCha to make room for Sekera.
