So many thing went right for the Sabres in Winnipeg. Their forecheck pressure was better. The D played better in its own end. The forwards were compliantwith coming bck to protect the fort. Miller made big saves at critical times to keep his team in the game.
Yet once again in the end, it was the same old song and dance.
Dumb penalties--like the umpteenth too-many-men on the ice call this week--- at the worst possible times. Injuries to key penalty killers 28, 36, and 42.
