Rangers to watch out for:
Brandon Dubinsky - He will return to the lineup tonight and play in his first playoff game since the Rangers first round series against the Ottawa Senators. You know he'll be fired up tonight, he just needs to control his emotions to remain effective.
Chris Kreider - Game 4 was the first game of the series that he did not register a point against the Devils. How will he rebound?
Marian Gaborik - He has zero points and a minus-2 rating in this series. If he could produce anything tonight, it would go a long ways in terms of helping the Rangers win.
Devils to watch out for:
Zach Parise - The Devils Captain had two goals, an assist and five shots in Game 4. If he can produce anything close to that tonight, the Devils will be in good shape.
Jacob Josefson - Josefson was very good in his first career playoff game, Monday night. How will he follow up his solid performance?
David Clarkson - He has just one goal and six shots in this series. The Devils could use more from him.
Keys to the game
New York - Control emotions
If the Rangers win tonight, the worst thing that could happen is them hosting a Game 7 for a chance to advance to the Stanley Cup Final. If they stay disciplined, which they haven't done very well this series, and stick to their game plan, they'll be in good shape.
New Jersey - Good goaltending
I expect the Rangers to have their best first period of the series tonight, which means Brodeur will likely face some quality chances early. If he can make a few big stops and hold them off the score board until the Devils get their feet underneath them, they'll have a very good chance of winning tonight.
