The South Buffalo native's hockey resume is already of Hall of Fame quality. All he does is score the biggest, most important goals. He makes the plays to set up his line mates that other players shake their heads at in amazement.
You knew he was a beauty when He won the Rookie of The Year in 2008.
Kane is only 24 years of age, however, he has won two Stanley Cup championships in the past four years.
On Monday night, Kane authored another chapter in his already superlative career when he he was awarded the Conn Smythe Trophy for playoff MVP. Take Kane away from the Hawks and they don't win the Cup. Plain and simple.
kane said that he and his linies, Bickell and Toews, put their heads together on Monday morning to give Kane a new nickname, "Benefish". Kane says that 29 and 19 do all the hard work and that 88 is the "beneficiary" of all their work. Kane said that playing with Bickell and Toews have made his job so easy the past couple of weeks of the trio working together.
Kane is the fourth U.S. player to win the Conn Smythe. He's also the third straight American to do so. Jonathon Quick won it with the Kings in 2012. Tim Thomas won it with the Bruins in 2011. Brian Leetch won it with the Rangers in 1994.
Kane's has the innate ability to up his game and to perform successfully against all odds, in the biggest games and the most critical moments.
Is there anything that this kid can't do?

Kane scored the game winning goal against Philly to allow Chicago to claim the Stanley Cup in 2009. Oh, by the way, Kane also earned an Olympic silver medal at the 2010 Winter Olympics at Vancouver.
After Monday night's Cup win in Boston, Kane admitted that his head is spinning from all of the hoopla right now.

I say Patrick Kane has already accomplished enough career milestones to cinch his place in the Hockey Hall Hall Of Fame.
Here's a sampler platter of the Balckhawks and their post game cellies:
The Hawks land in Chicago in the wee hours of the morning, to a heroes welcome.

Hawks captain Jonathon Toews was so fired up about winning the Stanley Cup that he busted out a Michael Jackson "Moon Walk". Sweet feet.

I love the way that Andrew Shaw plays the game of hockey. The former Niagara Ice Dog took a Shawn Thornton shot to the face at the end of the first period. He was knocked unconscious and lay motionless in a puddle of his own blood. A truly horrifying sight.
Heroically, he was stitched up in the Hawks room, then, came back and finished the game.
Talk about sacrificing one's body for the good of the team! WOW!
