Good afternoon Hockeybuzzards, and welcome to edition 16 of “The Display Case” where you. The reader, can show off your most prized hockey possessions!
A short but sweet post today coming your way from Brett in Toronto as he shares a unique piece of Leafs memorabilia he gifted to his dad:
I live in Toronto, huge leafs fan (which will pay off one day) and for Father's Day this year I got a one of a kind piece for my Dad. Stored away for who knows how many years, a travel trunk from the 1940's Maple Leaf Gardens days. It used to travel with the team, from train to train and no doubt has some amazing stories. Now it's on wheels but the rust is minimal and still is in great shape.
That’s a rare and interesting display of Leafs fandom there Brett! Beauty gift for your old man. Hope he’s enjoying it!
