In his postgame presser, Patrick Roy updated the injury status of his D Tyson Barrie after the Avs lost 1-0 in OT to the Wild.

Barrie is now out for 4-6 weeks with an MCL injury, courtesy an ugly knee on knee hit by Matt Cooke.

The Avs lead the series two games to one. There's no question that Cooke's knee to knee hit on Barrie was the turning point of Game 3.

Mikael Granlund scored that gorgeous OT GWG.

Game 3. Minnesota. Colorado leads the series 2-0.

Enter the old Matt Cooke.

Not good for Tyson Barrie.

Before tonight, Cooke has done a great job of playing north-south hockey and avoiding the commitment of his prior sins.

Moments into the second period, Cooke delivered a nasty knee-on-knee blow to Colorado’s best D-man Tyson Barrie. Sadly, the 22-young defenseman crumpled to the ice before high tailing it to the Avs' locker room.

For his shenanigans, Cooke was given a two-minute minor that Minnesota successfully killed off. You better believe that Stephane Quintal and the NHL Player Safety Department will be looking at this punk play. I see supplemental discipline in Cooke's future.

The Blues brought their two games to none lead into the Madhouse On Madison on Monday night.

Jonathon Toews got into Ryan Miller's head early in the first period with this five hole deluxe.

Thanks, @MyRegularFace

The puck appeared to develop knuckle action after if kissed off Kevin Shattenkirk's stick blade.

Miller no doubt would love to have that one back.

Talk about old school offenders.

I present to you Max Lapierre

Thanks, @PeteBlackburn

Brookbank wanted to fight the Blues' rat after he got to his feet after being plowed from behind by Lapierre.
