Emery comes up big for Ottawa in 2-1 win |

Ray Emery steals a win for his team. Much needed. Huge win for the Sens. Back to Ottawa for Game 5 and lets finish this series.
Back with a detailed blog tomorrow. Be sure to check Katie Villeneuve's blog for more Sens/Pens coverage.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
I am surpsied that the game is still tied. It has been all Pittsburgh in the second period.
Ottawa is not skating at all. Pens are dictating the play and it seems like the Sens never enter the offensive zone. Outhit and outshot by the Pens.
Props to Pittsburgh for a great second period.
Fleury has not been tested at all.
Emery has been well positioned and kept his team in the game.
Redden again had a horrible period. Roberts made Redden look foolish again on the Pens goal, first Redden turned the puck over and then Roberts put him on his butt. Redden has been by far and away the worst defensemen for Ottawa.
Sens forwards need to forecheck and start making the Pens defense work as they have seen the least amount of work of all players so far in this game.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Pens have controlled the play in the first period. That was probably their best period of this series.
Great pace and flow to the game.
Sens have blocked alot of shots and the Pens seem to be missing the net alot.
Crosby's has had limited space and time on the puck, great job again by Phillips and Volchenkov.
Joe Corvo was terrific in the first period with his puck control and patience.
What else can say about Wade Redden but this guy is flat out awful.
Petrovicky outskates Redden to the loose puck and knocks him off his feet, takes the puck away and passes it out front for a glorious scoring chance. Redden needs to first of all skate harder for the loose pucks, secondly try to be physical a bit and thirdly play like he cares.
The second period has been the Senators best period in the first three games. Lets see if they come out with a stronger period.
Lastly, the Spezza goal took a bit of wind out of the Pens sails. Lucky bounce, but like they say you have to be lucky to be good.
Back with more in the 2nd intermission.
Kev,
