The Boston Bruins have traded restricted free agent defenseman Dougie Hamilton to the Calgary Flames. The trade call is happening is now, and the return will be known shortly.

Can confirm that the Flames will send a first-round pick (15th overall) to the Bruins. The Flames will also send two second-round picks (45th and 52nd overall) to the Bruins in this trade.

The Bruins have also signed defenseman Adam McQuaid to a four-year deal worth $11 million in total ($2.75 million cap-hit). Including postseason play, the 28-year-old McQuaid has missed 99 games since the end of the last lockout.

The Bruins have also traded Milan Lucic to the Los Angeles Kings in exchange for goaltender Martin Jones and the 13th overall pick in tonight's draft. The Bruins have also acquired defensive prospect Colin Miller, and retained $2.7 million of Lucic's $6 million salary.
